Ingredients

Grass-Fed Grass-Finished Beef Tallow, Organic Castor Oil, Organic Raw Beeswax, Organic Frankincense Essential Oil

How To Use

At night, apply a rice-grain to pea-sized amount to clean, slightly damp skin. Warm the balm between your fingertips, then gently massage it into the face and neck.

Focus on areas of concern, including:

◆ Under the eyes for the appearance of dark circles and puffiness
◆ Forehead, brow, smile lines, and crow’s-feet
◆ Dry, flaky, irritated-looking, or uneven areas
◆ Blemish-prone areas and the appearance of post-blemish marks
◆ Cheeks, jawline, and neck for lasting moisture and a healthier-looking skin barrier

For the under-eye area, gently tap with your ring finger and sweep outward toward the temples. Do not apply directly into the eyes.

For blemish-prone skin, begin with a very small amount two to three nights per week before increasing to nightly use. A little goes a long way.

For external use only. Patch test before first use. Avoid broken skin and direct contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

What's inside — and why

Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Beef Tallow

What it is: Rendered fat from cattle raised entirely on U.S. pasture through regenerative family farms.

What it does: Deeply moisturizes and softens dry, tight, or weather-worn skin, and is naturally rich in the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.

Why it's here: Tallow closely resembles the skin's own oils, so it absorbs cleanly and supports a healthy-looking moisture barrier without a greasy film.

Cold-Pressed Castor Oil

What it is: A thick, honey-textured plant oil pressed from castor seeds without heat or solvents.

What it does: A traditional favorite for the eye area — helps skin feel cushioned and supple, and is widely used in home rituals for the look of fine lines, tired eyes, and puffiness.

Why it's here: It gives the balm its silky slip and long-lasting hydration, and is the key reason this formula is built for the face rather than the body.

Steam-Distilled Frankincense Essential Oil

What it is: The aromatic oil of the Boswellia tree, traditionally used across skincare and ceremonial rituals for centuries.

What it does: Long prized in traditional facial skincare for mature, stressed, and uneven-looking skin. Adds a warm, resinous scent to the ritual.

Why it's here: It's the signature note of our face balm — the grounding, ancient scent that turns a nightly moisturizer into a real ritual.

Organic Raw Beeswax

What it is: Sustainably harvested, minimally processed wax from small apiaries.

What it does: Seals in moisture and forms a breathable, protective layer over dry, weather-exposed skin.

Why it's here: It gives the balm its rich structure and helps hydration last for hours after you apply it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a face balm or a body balm?

This one is our face balm. It was formulated specifically for the delicate skin of the face — under the eyes, brow, cheeks, and jaw. For everyday body use (hands, elbows, dry patches), we recommend our Pure Tallow Skin Balm or Tallow & Honey Skin Balm instead.

Can I use it under my eyes for dark circles and puffiness?

Yes — that's exactly what it's built for. Cold-pressed castor oil has a long history of use around the eye area for the look of dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines. Press (don't rub) a tiny amount along the orbital bone at night. Keep it out of the eye itself, and patch test first.

Will it help with fine lines and wrinkles?

It's designed to help the skin look plumper and more cushioned, which softens the appearance of fine lines. Consistent nightly use over 4–8 weeks tends to make the biggest visible difference.

What does it smell like?

Warm, resinous, and grounding — the signature scent of frankincense, softened by the naturally mild aroma of tallow and castor. It fades gently on the skin, so it doesn't interfere with sleep.

Will it clog my pores?

Grass-fed tallow closely mimics the skin's own oils and works well for most people, including on the face. If you're acne-prone, start with a rice-grain amount at night and patch test before regular use.
