Where It All Began
I was raised on a ranch where nature wasn’t just part of life — it was life. We rode horses, raised lambs and pigs for meat, and gathered fresh eggs from free-roaming chickens. Our days were grounded in the rhythm of the land: muddy boots, starry nights, and meals shared around a table that reflected the season.
We learned early that real work had meaning — feeding animals, tending soil, respecting every harvest. Even hunting wild game was done with intention, not just for food but as a lesson in humility and balance.
Nature provided. We respected it.
A World Away from Nature
College changed things fast. Suddenly I was surrounded by convenience — packaged food, fluorescent lighting, and products with ingredient lists that read like chemistry exams. I didn't think much of it at first.
Then my skin started falling apart. Eczema. Rashes that wouldn't quit. I tried everything on the shelf, including the stuff that called itself "natural." I'd flip the bottle over, read the label, and find the same synthetic ingredients hiding behind better branding.
It made me angry, honestly. And that anger turned into curiosity.
Returning to the Roots
I went back to what I knew:
The earth doesn’t need to be improved — just respected.
I began formulating skincare using the same principles I was raised with — simplicity, purity, and trust in what’s real. Tallow. Beeswax. Cold-pressed oils. Herbs. Ingredients our ancestors would recognize, made the way nature intended.
What started as a personal solution quickly grew into something more.
Untamed Organics was born out of necessity — but built on belief.
Belief that we all deserve skincare we can actually trust.
